In June 2010, the Migration Bureau's London team attended an event at the New Zealand High Commission to promote New Zealand media and to network with business leaders and High Commission staff. Topics discussed included how New Zealand is promoted internationally and how New Zealand expat reporters are influencing overseas media channels. The NZ High Commissioner, H.E. Derek Leask also spoke at the event. The Migration Bureau's London team met a range of New Zealand business leaders and representatives of the New Zealand Government.
